So I am looking at buying a superduty, and seeing all kinds of options. A trend I Do see is the $$$ that dually's bring over SRW trucks. But not wanting to look like every other dually SD out there brought me to the idea of doing smaller flares, vs the big hips.

I like how the old dodges and newer mega cab duallies looked. I also liked fords rendition with the newer 2011+ trucks.

So, is there a way to do this on the 1999-2010 trucks? I don't think bushwacker cut out would be wide enough....

Ideas? Pics? Suggestions?

Im thinking real hard about doing the same thing. I am thinking if I can find some one who can do like an 8in pocket flare on the back and a 2in pocket flare on the front I wont have a ton of tire hanging out.

However.... I have no idea how it will work. Im still hunting for a dana80 for the right money.

You will have to use a single wheel bed if you plan to use smaller fenders. I'm not sure how the 2011+ fenders attach but the ones on my truck use a big plate thats threaded into the side of the bed at the top of the fender. Bushwacker cutouts are not wide enough. Ift would probally be cheaper to buy a whole take off 2011+ bed. The 99+ fenders sell for 900 each from Ford + lights and brackets. So I would assume you would save money by just buying complete bed. However I don't think you Mrs would be too happy about you buying a truck then spending 2500 on a bed for it lol. I'm sure she is still mad that I let you drve my truck.
