My stock height 2011 dually is about due for some new rubber. I was wanting to go up to a 265/70/17 for a little more meat instead of the factory pizza cutter look. Anyone done this to know if I will need spacers in the rear?

I have 265/ 75 r16 on my 99 dually, They almost touch. If you tow anything I wouldn't recommend running a spacer between the duals. I'd personally keep the skinny tires.

I love the look of the wide tires though :( what's the spacer going to hurt ?

Well the inner dual might be ok since it rides on the hub, but the outer dual would be riding on the studs and if you put to much weight on it you could break the studs and possibly take parts of the spacer with it , compromising the inner dual.
