For fun I ended up disconnecting the IPR valve and made a jumper wire to the battery. I applied 12v to the IPR while turning the truck over and it started right up. I quickly unhooked the 12v and the truck ran like crap but stayed running. I hooked up the IPR again and the truck would not start.
