E40d Transmission

Perfectly working/driving transmission out of a 96 f350 4x4.

It was rebuilt 20k miles ago with 4r100 parts. Customer decided to go with more than stock power so we removed this and installed a built transmission.

It shifted awesome and has never seen more than stock power.

Might be a good spare or a perfect replacement in a sub 400hp truck!

Would assume the tail sections are different but thats about all. Hard to say how difficult it would be or if it can be done, I have little to no experience with the 2wd version of the E40d

The output shaft would have to be changed the 4 wheel drive ones are longer

The entire trans would have to be disassembled to swap out the output shaft and tail section. Glwts.

You will need to put your rear housing onto this (the piece that goes over the output shaft) the one on this transmission is busted.

$1000 + shipping for a great working E40D that was rebuilt 20k miles ago with upgraded parts.
Would make a great runner for someone that wants to pull theirs and rebuild it
