Truck is a '97 4x4 PSD
At any rate, if I accelerate at a more than normal pace, it will hit OD at 50ish MPH and then immediately shift out. There is no shaking of the truck or bad noises.
Accelerating normally to 50MPH, it doesn't hit OD but I think the TQ converter locks up as it feels like there is a shift point between 40 and 50mph? But at 50mph, the RPMs are at ~1850.
I've never driven or owned an automatic before so I have no idea what TQ lock up feels like
Any ideas/thoughts/insights will be helpful.
