E99 Spider+3" intakes+2 3/8 x 3" boots?

Has anyone physically assembled this combo? Will it fit?
Thinking this way the air passageway is geting bigger as the air gets to the heads. Then when I go T4, the intakes are allready there....

Wow, nobody has ever tied this? Will an E99 spider fit with 3" intakes if a 2 3/8 to 3" boot is used?

Yes it will. I was going to do this very thing until I decided to go with a T4 setup. Even went as far as setting the stock turbo and E99 spider back on the engine after putting the 3" intakes on to test the boots I had. Fit fine with a little trimming of the boots on one end.
