Anyone know where it is?
I took my truck into the dealership for a radiator hose leak yesterday. They replaced the lower hose and radiator itself. Radiator was fine, Ford just wanted to replace it i guess. Anyways on the 15 mile trip home my temps were all fine till about 4 miles from my house. My ECT (192-194F* range) jumps to 208, 210, then to 212F* while my EOT (90-92C*) follows along going 94,96,98,100,102C* before i made it to the shoulder where i switched off to find my degas bottle dry as a bone. I look at the passenger side and the ground is covered with water and still running out like a faucet. The passenger side of my truck along with the undercarriage is soaked. About a 16" Wide path of coolant has also covered the highway. Does anyone think I may have starved any part of my motor for water? I know the temps arent overbearing, just wanted to make sure my sensor was measuring water and not steam. Thanks guys
