ECU Grommet?

Just got this truck. 99 F350 CC Auto LB. The ECU is not sealed with the firewall. Let's air through to the point that you can feel it flowing it. Is there a wrap or grommet that is supposed to be around this thing? I cannot tell. I don't remember what the old truck had in there. It's also letting a fair amount of road/motor noise in the cab at times.

I have searched but cannot find anything so far.

Yes, there should be a gasket. Look at the bottom half of this picture and see.

Ah-Ha a pic perfect! Thanks, I will look at that tonight to see what it looks like again. Now the fun part will be if its not there what part number that is. LOL

Should just be able to call Ford and ask them for the part number. I am sure they don't hear about those going bad too often though LOL.

That's true they should be the same style throughout the years. Great idea will look at my '92 Explorer that is down right now to compare.

PCM gasket has been obsolete for several years according to my Ford dealer. Junkyard may be your only source now. Maybe good ole' duct tape?
