******** egr and new oil cooler

Any words of wisdom on this, do's and dont's.
Also I plan on doing a coolant flush with vc-9 or restore do I need to do this before I pull oil cooler or can I do it after I have everything changed out but before new coolant goes in.

Do the flush first, you don't want all that stuff getting in the new cooler.

take a flashlight and look between the intake manifold and head, have found m6 nuts that are for the intake shields or glow plug bracket as well as washers rocks bolts. if something drops into an intake port it will eventually make it past a valve an bounce around in the cylinder. they do some damage.

clean the oil passage way between the cooler and pump out perfectly as a well as the cavity and gasket mating surfaces
