Can anyone tell me what the plug by the fan shroud goes to when deleting the EGR?
I have been deleted for a while but have a check engine light and was told to plug this one back in to get rid of the trouble codes but can't remember what it plugs into.:fustrate:

Thanks.

Are you talking about the orange plug under the valve on the driverside of the motor?

That's the throttle valve. You shouldn't need to plug that back in. Who is doing your tuning?

I'm using PIP but have been told that the, now that i know, throttle valve has to be plugged in because I get two trouble codes relating to the EGR

The orange plugs are suppose to be unplugged but the one I'm thinking of plugs into the valve. Here a pic I found

Yes that is the one i was told had to be plugged so i dont get a check engine light

Let me know if I can help. Never had an issue with tuning we have and that. With you running the Midwest Intake kit, I think it would be pretty cheesy to have the valve plugged in hanging around under the hood. That's just me though

I have PiP tuning as well and also had a CEL - EGR Throttle position sensor out of range. I think the code was 0488 or something like that. I have it copied down somewhere.

Plugged it back in and no more CEL or stored code.

I still can't seem to find what needs to be plugged back in. I tried several sensors but no luck over the weekend. Would anyone happen to have a picture of the actual sensor? Thanks

The first pic shows where to look then the 2nd pic shows the connector itself. As you can see mine is unplugged but that is where the orange plug goes.

Sorry about the crappy pics I went out and just took them.

I just got off the phone with PiP. If you have/get v6 of their tunes (it will say Tow v6 for instance on your device), you will have to unplug that sensor.

It is a simple call/email to them to get your upgraded tunes.
