EGT temps

I am wondering if my temp monitor is showing me true temps. I see as low as mid 300's at idle and never more than 800 even if I am all over the pedal.

The probe is seated as far into the block off plate as it will thread. I use an EDGE CTS with the CTS probe.

What do you see at idle?

Your max temp is going to depend on your mods and the amount the probe sticks past the plate. I ended up having to grind the bung off mine and re-tapping the thread to get an amount sticking past the plate. If you have a plate with a threaded reducer, it might not be sticking past the plate. On GH performance, I can get to 1400 fairly easily. I am also using the CTS with probe.

Should be well over 1200 with the factory sst.
