Is there anybody on here thats had trouble with their power mirrors?
Im not sure if its the switch on the door panel, or the motor but it'll let me move the driver side up, down, out, but not in. And the passenger side doesen't work at all. Any advice is much appreciated!

Kinda the same issue here. Except mine will move both mirrors up and down but not left and right. So I think my issue is the switch on the door. Also, RockAuto.com does not offer that from what I have sen.

I found some on amazon anywhere from 12 to 30 bucks for my 01. Dorman switchs have 5 stars and a limited lifetime warrenty so thats prolly what im gonna shot for. I just wanted to be sure of whats going on before i ordered one.

Anything that says Dorman is junk. They might work for a bit, but I would not trust them. Not a real critical part though, so the worst that will happen is have to do it again.

I have had my switches act up a few times. I just pull them out and hose them down with lectra motor cleaner then blow them dry with compressed air, problem solved. I think the issue arises from water dripping on them when I open/close the door or crack the window in the rain.

90% of the time it is the switch... If people would leave there windows rolled up you would not have this issue... LOL

If I left the windows down, the truck would get dirty inside! And thats not happening!

^Yes, or at least KEEP it up or down.... I have a 'special somebody' that likes to go up, down.. up, down... up, down... the whole trip. Makes me want to improvise some sort of passenger window cutoff switch

OP, its prob a dirty switch. When I first bought my truck, a general contractor owned it and the window switches and mirror switches (and the power door locks) were caked in dust. I pulled the switch, shot the **** outta it w/ electrical contact cleaner, and everything started working as it should have.
