I know Gearhead messes with it more than most to help spool ect, i pretty much run the h&s timing tables and trim off a little on the top up to 3500 rpm i only run 12 degrees, after that it tapers up to 15 to 4000 rpm, h&s calls for a similar timing but up to 18 degrees after something like 3350 rpm. On a stock truck it really doesnt matter because only on the dyno will it actually run out passed 3300 rpm, the shifts are set for 3200 Im calling for 3700 rpm shifts since my peak power is right at 3500, thus keeping in the power as much as possible. So to some degree you could say im only running 12 degrees but i will say max at 4k rpm is 15. Not sure what others call for i think 12 degrees is pretty standard but maybe someone will chime in and correct me [/QUOTE]
