Anybody have any experience with AR6200 combustion catalyst and burn modifier? A pint treats 640 gallons of fuel. I have heard of 2-3 mpg increase, plus it acts as a stabilizer. I'm thinking about getting a 91 gallon auxiliary fuel tank with gravity feed. I'm in San Diego where diesel fuel is $4.04/gal, but 13 miles away in Tijuana it's $2.84. 120 gallons at $1.20 less per gallon comes to $144 less per fill up. The Mexican government owns Pemex and regulates all gasoline and diesel fuel. The quality is very good. I'm a little concerned about getting water in the fuel after it's in my tanks due to condensation.

The ones that volunteered to try the AR9100 for me also got AR6200 to try as well. Just waiting to hear back from everyone.

I've been running both the AR9100 and the AR6200 for almost two months so far...and so far so good. Cant tell whether the AR9100 is better than the rev-x, but the truck runs just as good.

I run both the 6200 and 9100. I don't notice any mileage increase around town but on a New Year's trip to Lake Placid I saw close to a 1.5 mpg increase. I'm happy with that.

My truck starts in the cold just as well with the 9100 as the Rev-X. I'm spending waaaaay too much on fuel additive because I can't seem to shake my addiction to 2-cycle.

I ran the 6200 fuel catalyst through two tanks. Noticed a decent power improvement over the winter blend fuel. No mileage improvement though

Whats the deal with 2-cycle?

In a in depth study of fuel additives a while back, they found that your "best bang for your buck" and one of the better fuel additives for ULSD was Super Tech (Walmart) 2-cycle tcw3.

Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk

I wouldn't say best fuel additive as it provides zero antigel/cetane boost. It does however add lubricity which ulsd is lacking

Hey guys, a couple of us hold outs over at TDG are the ones who stumbled on to the Archoil products. There is an extensive discussion on the stuff over there. Aside from the small inconvenience of having to order it, AR6200 is a borate based fuel catalyst, the boron element increases lubricity in ULSD and when it attaches itself to the diesel fuel it lowers the ignition point (raises cetane level). In the majority of people trying it, there is a slight increase in performance and an improvement in fuel economy.

As a side note, Boron has been used in rocket fuel. Also, don't be fooled by the treat rate, these guys are on the cutting edge of Nano technology in lubricants, putting the elemental particles at just over the atomic level. It definately works at the recommended treat rate.

It also works in gasoline, I'm running it in my V10 Excursion and the increase in fuel economy has been over 15%, any of you who have ever had a V10 know their thirst for fuel...

Anyway, as soon as I get my truck back together I have arranged to do some pretty scientific dylo testing on this stuff to measure the performance increase at part throttle and WOT (if any) and I'll be documenting fuel mileage as well. I'm more than happy to provide updates if any of you are interested.

my truck was running pretty decent to begin with.no real stiction symptoms, rough starting or the other stuff. mileage was poor before and poor but slightly better after. seems a bit more peppy now. definitely less clicking of loose cold parts on startup. I will keep running it for a couple oil changes, and buy another 16 oz of fuel treatment. definitely good guys to deal with. they airmailed my order, and forgot 1 tube of grease they were going to airmail it to me. I couldn't see letting them pay shipping twice for something that small, so I now have credit with them. when I called to asked about it he remembered the order and had no question at all about giving a credit.

I likewise had a good first encounter with Evergreen America. However i was wrong in my previous post. I have the AR6100 (diesel fuel treatment) as opposed to the AR6200 (multifuel treatment). Like I said, I didnt really notice a fuel mileage increase but it does feel like the engine runs better. Definitely a little more peppier. I have the AR9100 (oil additive) ready to put in on my next oil change, even though I have nothing bad to say about the rev-x that is in there right now other than the price.

When my order from Evergreen first came in, the package was damaged and leaking the fuel additive. I refused to accept the shipment, called them, and they sent out a replacement that day and it showed up two days later. They also included a sample of their gun oil for free, which I'll have to try out as well at some point. I will definitely be ordering more from them in the future.

With my first 1.5 tanks since I started using the Archoil AR6200, my fuel mileage has gone from 19.2 to 20.2 on my 74 mile daily commute which is a mix of rural rolling secondary and interstate with speeds from 35 to 65. I have very little city traffic. It took a couple hundred miles for the mileage improvement to start showing up, but I felt the low-end pep improve in 3 miles.
I also have a jug of AR9100 fuel additive, but read in the Diesel Supplement not to use friction modifiers for the first few thousand miles so the engine could break in properly.

I gave up on Rev-X and use 9100 religiously now. For me the 9100 worked just a smidgen better, the deal sealer was the cost being so much less.
