So I took the uh oh 6.0, 5 1/2 hour trip to andy warrens shop today for a new trans/install. Dropped the truck off and now sitting at a hotel as I type, the big day is tomm.. first time I ever traveled this far for a vehicle to get worked on. Great day for driving, fall in the mountains is awesome. Got some killer pictures.

You wont regret it. Andy can build a trans and will stand behind it 100 percent.

No doubt. He seemed very nice on the phone. Heck he is picking me first thing in the am from the hotel. He offered too which I thought was awesome of him.

trans is all completed. made the 6 hour trip back home and truck ran flawlessly. Andy was professional and I thank him for his hospitality. showed me around the shop and Jesse's as well. They have a great setup their. Big thanks to Andy and his guys for getting the job done quickly. This trans shifts very fast and firm, truck feels totally different driving it. In a good way that is.

congrats man ! trans can make such a huge diference in driving characteristics , most people don't realize it. its usually a wait to buy item.

^thanks man. I also got a chance to finally try the intake out , that turbo really sings now, example: going up a 6% climb for 8 miles at 70-75 mph lol
Yeah but as far as a built trans, I was one of those persons thinking it can't make that much of a difference. It proved me wrong.

good deal, glad you finally got that trans in...did you end up with the new turbo setup yet?

Yes I think it will be a good setup.. I actually might get the injectors bumped up to 205's . Not sure yet though we will see. Id like to get it all finished before it gets to cold out.
