Just wondering what those that have suffered thru the misery of fighting exhaust manifold bolts more than once like to use?
I have found a few options, Factory OEM, which here in Canada have the dealer Gold plated Pricing,
ARP offers stainless studs, bolts or chrome moly bolts all at 180000 psi UTS & Bulletproof Diesel even offers a Titanium bolt package. These all seem reasonably priced.
I can imagine if any of these were to break or gall up they would be real bitch to get out.

Hmmm, the above sounds like a rambling fool suffering from lack of sleep:blah:.....That would be me!:(

I'll try again;
What do you like to use to bolt up the exhaust manifolds on these engines?

Just need the spacers and bolts correct? Did you gasket match as well?

i run stock 6.0 hardware on my 6.0 manifolds. Pretty spendy i know but they do work well.

RCD has done some testing on thier manifolds and they use ARP with good luck. I know of several trucks that have had the hardware back off with stock stuff, not sure why

i wanna say it was over 50 bucks from the dealer, maybe even higher

Well shoot. That gaskets, spacers and bolts? Not to hi-jack, but to shim the fuel bowl for the dent removed on mani, how are you shimming it? Just washers or 6.0 rocker arm spacers?

I went with 6.0 OEM bolts & spacers. I actually ordered all my OEM requirements thru Sunrise Ford's on line store below in the vendor section. Great pricing & the extra 10% black Friday Discount covered the difference in my lousy CDN dollar. Thanks Jim.
For Reference:
Motorcraft # 3C3Z9S425AA Bolts are M8-1.25 X 40mm long
Motorcraft # 3C3Z9A461AA Spacer
