I have a 2003 4x4 hand shaker. My question is i recently removed the cat and exhaust. But I have notice that there is a whistle to it but then just a rumble to it. My question is everytime I hear other 6.0 all I hear is the whistle. Question is. Is my turbo bad or do I have to do a full turbo back to get the pure whistle sound.

After about 2,000 rpm you start getting more motor noise the turbo noise out the exhaust. And when you really start climbing it's mostly just a nice rumble. No need to worry. If you want more whistle, get an aftermarket turbo like a powermax, you will have more then enough whistle then lol.
