external wastegates

I need to put a external wastegate on my 9180 efr turbo.reason being is that I beleive im over spinning it at 50psi boost. where do you guys mount them company preference? I need it set around 40psi what spring(s) has everyone used to get this?

you can use a stock uppipe and mount it where the egr cooler would hook up. I know Matt at CED has done it like that. wouldn't seem too bad.

For some reason I thought they were all internally gated. Lol

After looking at that turbo, got me thinking. That would be a really nice turbo for a 7.3 and hybrids. Mmmmmmmmm

The ED gate is massive, and can easily be removed cab on with the way I had it setup here.

Lol he meant the jgs gate is huge. Best gate if ever used. Ed uses them but he changes springs.
