I have a 08 f250 6.4 and was told by some one I could fool my *** by putting in a diode on my *** sensors and this would be like a ******... any insite on this ?

Actually in his defense, I kinda remember seeing a you tube video describing that very thing. I think it was on a dodge Cummings though. Either way, they used resistors or something to fool the sensors.

I didn't pay much attention to it.

The Cummins fellas have been doing it for awhile.
IIRC, just tricks it into thinking it doesn't need to do a regen.

That's what I found... but met a guy at truckstop in Texas who had a 6.4 and done the mod ... I'm just wondering if it's worth it and if so what size diodes or resistors I would need... I'll give anything a try if it could work
