what are some options for gutting the cat. whats the easiest way

I used a 3 foot jack handle and a sledge hammer, lay something down on the ground so you don't bash it up, and yes as previously stated beer

Exact process I used, took me about 15 minutes to do in the middle of the summer.

I used a piece of wood on the ground, and a digging bar. We have all kinds of those laying around work... And yes beer was involved. You can't work on your truck without beer. It's unethical.

First time 3/4 and 1" emt. A hammer and a piece of 3" pvc. 2nd time 2 pieces of 3/4 copper pipe, a hammer and 3" pvc pipe. The 3" pipe is what I set the cat on while hammering out the guts to avoid damaging the ends and making it a bear to re install
