How many of you have removed your factory flares? I am thinking about pulling mine off, but concerned about the adhesive possibly has damaged the paint. I will get new tape stripe to replace the soon to be too short tape.

It's not so bad an eraser wheel is a must to get the tape off. You will probably also need a little fine cut compound to take the scuffing off the fender where the flare rubs a little

Get the eraser wheel. I didn't, figured I could melt it off with a heat gun.

It didn't work.

I then saw the error of my ways and no one near me had an eraser wheel. So I cleaned them off with goo gone and a little plastic putty knife. It was a huge pain.

Yep just up the road barely. I actually went to Richland high school and my parents house was over behind 5 star ford.
