fan shroud crack?

the upper part of my shroud is cracked to the left of where it says powerstroke turbo diesel...08 6.4....I had it off when i replaced my belt and put it back on no problems but i looked under the hood today and it was cracked. wtf??

Probably cracked it and didn't know it. Happens often

haha-every one of my trucks has had a cracked shroud-i just ignore it...

yup. Pretty common. I just replaced mine with a brand new upper shroud.

They crack easy , have a brand new one sitting in my garage

thanks guys, it was probably just a careless mistake...will be more careful when i replace it with a new one soon.
