Ended up finding out we had a 1995 cover on it and it has a slightly different clearance for the cam sensor. We ended up shimming the cam sensor a little and fixed all the issues. I guess international even sells a cam sensor clearance tool and shim kit... never heard of that before. WELL... during the down time trying to figure out what was going on... James ended up driving a 6.7psd and it was over for him. He threw in the towel and sold the 7.3 after blowing the motor 4 times over stupid "rare" issues.
