Ficm tuner question

Been looking around about getting my ficm programmed to the Atlas 40 until I'm studded in the spring. But then I'd like to switch to the 80 when I'm not pulling (after studs, oil cooler, and 5" exhaust). So it's cheaper for me to buy the programmer.

My question is, when buying a programmer, are all 4 files (economy, 40, 80, Hercules) all programmed into the unit? Or do I have the purchase the files individually?

Any good sales on the programmers (best I found was 350)?

Thanks for the time guys. Happy Thanksgiving.

Thanks again. Ordering the gryphon in couple weeks. Excited to get to try it out. Have A mpg Baseline. Will be posting up the gains.

You can also have PHP ship you the handheld and tune it yourself for $150. Not sure if you'd have to pay anything when you wanna switch to the 80, but just an idea in case you wanna save some cash.

I was thinking that, but when I tow occasionally I'd like to have the 40. And possibly the Hercules once I get the rest up to it.

Knowing me I can never leave one setup, I'll want to try pcm and ficm tunes and see 150 each time going fast lol

I like being able to go between stock and the other tunes depending on what I'm doing, thus why I went with the gryphon, plus it doubles as a monitor as well.

Exactly what I plan on doing. I don't need it fir the monitoring features, just the tuner part since I have the cts.

If you have. Good tunner, you can have them write tunes that work well with the FICM tune and not be to smokey down low.

Going from the 40 to the 80, same PCM tune I gain 50 hp and 150 tq with 36's.
