filter light in dash

My dad has a 96 7.3 with a light on that says filter in the command center. Any ideas

fuel filter clogged or vacuum switch may be bad, vacuum switch wiring may be shorted to ground.

Change the fuel filter.

I didn't think the obs had a change filter light? But ikk sure do it he says its hard to start I thought it may have been air filter

Obs trucks don't have a air filter light, they do have a fuel filter light

When you change the filter also clean the fpr.
