SSBC Big Bite rotors and 8 piston calipers up front with new DJM drop beams, new radius arms with urethane bushings, braided stainless brake hoses and a HUGE Hellwig sway bar.

Wrapped that up and took the bed off to start on the rear brakes, rear Hellwig bar and c-notch for the frame.

Sweet. Glad to see some progress going on. Been waiting to see how that c-notch turns out.

They either sent the wrong one of they have no idea how to make one for these trucks. I had to modify it just to get started mocking things up this afternoon. I knew to stay away from Chassis Tech....but I thought for sure they could get a stupid c-notch right.

Rich, call Kevin at grunionfabrication.com. He custom makes notches, and builds the baddest duallys I've ever seen. He's done tons of SD's.

Yes...but mainly with the fuel cell that's going back there.

Are you going to put the fuel cell behind the axle for better weight distribution?

Yes...below the bed floor in the back with a stock fuel door blended into the floor for access. My dual exhaust is completely in the way so I'll be redoing that yet again.

Got it wrapped up today. C-notches welded in, new rear rotors on with new pads, Hellwig rear sway bar installed and finished out all the braided stainless brake hoses. If SSBC will ever get their rear calipers done it'll be complete suspension/brakes wise.

Maybe one of these days I'll finish it and show it off again. LOL
I had to back away from it for a couple of months...just lost interest for a while. It's coming back to me now though....
