Finally got my POS back running... EGR delete the cause of only 18psi?

I bought the 2003 6.0 bone stock with 200k miles.

Before I pulled it apart I was making around 22psi unloaded at WOT.

I did the following:
New oil cooler
EGR Delete(welded up EGR cooler) and left the EGR hooked up
cleaned turbo(didn't need it)
banjo bolts
blue spring

I have built a setup to block off the back of the turbo where the down-pipe mounts, and a way to pressurize(30psi) the front of the turbo. I have not found any leaks and the setup will leak down very slowly, I assume from air getting past the rings on a few cylinders.

I am also getting the 132b code. Going to try and do a few things for it today.

I have a FICM tuner and Gearhead SCT tunes I haven't tried yet. I just want to make sure everything is OK before I install the tunes.

Thanks,
Justin

have you checked the y pipe for leaking bellows yet?

Yes, it has all been pressure tested to 30psi. From the down pipe to the front of the turbo. Holds pressure with a very slow leak down.

On top of that we even sprayed soapy water on everything.

Have you tried using starting fluid while it's running to check for leaks? Work well for me find my leak, only on the compressor side though. When you spray it where a leak could be, if there is one it will idle up.

I guess I could try, but from the entrance to the turbo, to where it exits the turbo(down pipe) and it will hold 30psi and leak down very slowly. I would think that slow of a leak starter fluid wouldn't show anything.

What about the turbine side?? Have you pressure checked your up-pipes and bellows system??

Everything is pressurized. To the front of the turbo, where the factory filter intake clamps on, to the back of the turbo where the down pipe hooks up. Everything in the entire system was pressure tested.

There was a very slow leak down, but I have to think that is the air leaking past the rings on the pistons.

I see its an 03 is why I ask. Actual mech gauge, or through a monitor of sorts?

I have a edge CS. I was debating hooking up one of my mechanical boost gauges to verify if the sensor wasn't reading correctly.

I also want to check fuel pressure.

That's what I was thinking. Check the hose from manifold to the map sensor for any cuts, or breaks, and physically pull the map sensor off the truck, and check the port in it. Have seen problems with both before cause symptoms like what you are seeing. Check the nipple on the manifold too. Have found those clogged also.
