first track time

Well I went to the track for the first time Saturday. In the 1/8 I ran a 8.13 leaving at 7lbs of boost. The ol truck really suprised me and alot of people there. Second pass didn't go as good I broke a turbo shaft in half buf it was all fun. I'm really thinking its got some high 7s in it... run those kind of numers how long yall think the stock trans will last. I know its on borrowed time as it is.

It was quite a bit of nitrous. The tune I was running was for nitrous also. Know that helps. If I can fig out how to put the pic up I will or I can txt it or email it to somebody.

I know Frankie went 11.88 on a stock turbo , ton of spray and big injectors , that was like 7 years ago.

Ahh gotcha, those are some big injectors on a stock turbo. Sn thanks for posting a pick of my slip its tge one on the left. The one on the right was a newer 5.0 mustang.

.88 jet and just the basics on the motor(studs, rr, Egr delete) and stock fuel pump.

I don't take anything these two trucks have done to heart. They're both freaks.
