fog lights

Im gonna be adding factory fog lights an Im wondering if I need to make a paramter change for the switch, as I dont have a factory fog lamp switch but will be replacing it eith one.
Also does anyome know if you can change out a non fog lamp hswitch to a fog lamp capible switch without rewiring

Lights are controlled by the smart junction box. Pretty sure you'll need some reprogramming to get them to work. Not sure if the harness is different.
Ford sells fogs as a kit if the truck didn't come with them.

You could use an upfitter switch if you have them.

It's done through the GEM/SJB like stated above.

I believe it's just a yes/no option to select in IDS, you will need to change the headlamp switch also.

When I did mine , I just changed out the headlight switch and mounted the fogs and plugged in the harness . All OEM parts and worked perfect .

I would be tempted to wire them different anyways since they go off with high beams
