Friction Modifier?

Dumb question, where can the friction modifier for the rear end and any specific brand I should use?

Any parts store/dealer should have it. Or if you are changing your fluid, use a nice synthetic with the modifier already in it.

Just go to your local Ford dealership. It is about $8 for the 4oz. bottle.

I've also heard of guys using the royal purple sythentic and it has the friction modifer in it.

I have used 2 different kinds. One is a white squeeze bottle with blue lettering, cant remember the name of it but you can get it at pretty much any parts house. I think it is called Equatorque but dont quote me.
The other is the Ford. It is good stuff. If I plan the the change I will get the Ford stuff, if not I get the one above.
