The vent line that connects the front of the tank to the back of the tank was dry rotted when I put my fuel system on my truck. So, I used a piece of extra hose from the fuel system to replace it. However, I forgot to put the front air vent back in as pictured. Now whenever I open my fill cap I can hear the gasses escaping.
How critical is it that I get this back in the line? Do I need to put it towards the front of the tank like it came from factory?
