Just bought a front axle out of a E99 to convert my 2wd to a 4x4. Needs one axle ujoint so im going to go ahead and change both sides. Also going to go ahead and change Ball joint while i got it apart. Axle has factory manual lockouts will i need any seals for them when I take it apart? What is the difference in the brakes in the E99 and L99?

Anyone have a part number for the hub seals on a 99 f250? Will I have to go to a dealer or can I get them from the part stores?

If you do buy the abs bearings you will need different rotors. The e99 s the bastard child and rotor thickness is off on the e99. if you run the abs wheel bearing hub the rotors will not sit all the way.on. So add new rotors to the list. Its so stupid because my e99 had the connectors on the frame just sitting there but no abs for the hubs. I know trailer hauler as well as cat rebel have done a couple 2 to 4wheel drive conversions on superduty's. Could contact them if you have any questions.
