I'm looking for a front spring that will ride level if I remove my rear blocks. Any ideas?

I was told Excursion springs are good for about an inch or a little more of drop.

U code? I was told not to use them, they wont support the weight. I'm looking to lower the front and level the back. Any more than an inch or two in the front and it gets hairy with the crossmember and diff.

Front spring? I measured my truck and it should sit level just by removing the rear blocks. So I can throw ex front springs to drop the front even more?

I figured it would sit level with the v codes up front and no blocks in the rear but agjake says with his sagging vcodes and 1" blocks there is a slight rake towards the rear end

Just measuring won't be all that accurate. Dropping the rear will also raise the front up some also.

I'll try and measure mine from axle center to wheel well this weekend.

Why wouldn't excursion springs not hold the weight or do these u codes come on non diesel excursions?

I was told just because they are rated for 4400 lbs does not mean they will work properly. Negative arch? I don't know, I didn't ask why. This was for an RSK swap, I don't see how it would be any different for a SD.

If you pull the rear block and leave the front springs..from wat I was told it will still have a little rake to the front . I plan on ex. Front no block in the rear and minus the bottom over load..

This is my old truck with the rear block removed and stock leaf springs up front:

17x9's. I don't remember the tire size off hand but iirc they were like 29" diameter.

So let me be clear. Your front springs are v codes and no rear blocks?

I don't know what the code is, but they are the stock springs that came on the truck (late '04 truck), and no rear blocks. I did nothing to the front.
