Fuel Gauge acting up

So I was on empty. Stopped and filled the truck up until the pump clicked off, almost 35 gal. Started the truck up and the fuel gauge only went up to between 1/8 and 1/4 tank and stopped. Any ideas on what's going on here?

Mine does things like that, or the fuel remaining will drop from 700kms to 600 within 30k then go back up to 700

Fuel gauge in the dash cluster. Mine did the same thing, it will get worse. Mine had bad soldering to a resistor in the cluster.

My fuel gauge on my 08 6.4 does this sometimes. Fill all the way to the top doesn't go up to full until 30 or so miles.
