Fuel leak fixed, Goofy MPG

Howdy all,

The other day I was travelin and developed a fuel leak, the line from the fuel filter to the driver side head. Got a new line and installed it without too much trouble.

Now my fuel mileage is all over the place, 11.1-14.7 where as I normally get about 15.5-16.4, anyone have any ideas?

I am plannin a long trip for the 4th and don't need any other issues.

2003, F-350, 7.3L, ZF6, Crew Cab

How long ago was this? I would say let it normalize. Also make sure dirt didnt call in the fitting on the head.

Pull that line and the fittings and blow them out and see if that improves things. I hate those stock fittings as they restrict flow. Just try to blow thru one with your mouth.

I remove the guts from those stock fittings and bore them out.

Thanks guys, Will clean the line out again to make sure. I also ordered a full fuel system from Dennis at strictly Diesel, will be puttin that on this weekend!!! In the Canon City area if anyone wants to stop by n help, LOL there will be BEER
