Fuel pressure sensor location?

Ok guys, I had a rr installed while she was getting head gaskets done. Im still monitoring fuel pressure(in cab) with the sender hooked up to the filter bowl. Do I need to move it to the regulator for a more accurate reading? I have it set at around 55-56 psi right now just seeing what she likes the best and the gauge shows pressure is still dropping below 45psi at wot. Could it be because the sender isn't hooked up to the regulator? Thanks for the help in advance!

Mines hooked up to the regulator, thats where ive seen alot of trucks run them with a RR.

Thanks guy's lol. I was just wanting to make sure. I hooked it up to the regulator and it"s still dropping. looks like it's time to save up for one of Marty's systems.

Same problem for me. 49psi to 35psi. No bueno.
