So I just replaced the idler after it starting to seperate and after I got the belt and everything put back together I noticed my fuel pump or block heater making a louder noise then what it normally does...like right when I turn the key waiting for my glow plug light to turn off. There's also a vibrate in my brake pedal. What do ya guys think?

The noise is coming from the driver side back corner. It's making a humming sound whenever I turn the key even when the truck is warm

Well its not your high pressure fuel pump, because that only comes on when the truck is running because it is gear driven off the cam. It may be the low pressure pump that is acting up. It is on the framerail under the driverside door. Turn the key to the on position and climb under the truck and check it for a loud noise. If you have a stock pump, you really wont hear anything or if you do, it will be very quiet.

Maybe your electric Vacuum pump is running continuously. IF the noise starts & stops with the key, but never quits while the key is in the on position, then check the vacuum switch on the top RH side of the rad shroud. The vacuum lines may have come off while you were working on the tensioner.

This could very well be the issue as well. It is a little black box that is right behind the battery on the drivers side.

sounds to me like the abs is kicking on for some reason, that would be the only reason to feel it in the pedal

That's exactly what it is doing. Is that harmful? I just drove an hour and a half away

Do you have a tuner? If so is it showing any codes? Wrench light on at all on the dash?
There is a very small black plastic line that runs across the top of the radiator from the pump making noise to the passenger side right by the battery tray. It is for the 4x4 vacuum and runs down to the axles on each side. With the work that you just did, it is very possible that you either bumped this line apart at one of the "T" fittings. I would look for this line and make sure that it is all hooked up. It is about a little bit smaller than a pencil as far as size wise goes. Good luck and keep us updated.

I think I remember bumping something but I thought it was just a breather or something coming from the passenger side. Small black tube. It was ribbed and ran across the top of the fan shroud. I don't have a tuner, however my CEL is on from bigger tires without the psi sensor in them

That is my guess. Check it over really good for cracks or loose fittings

If you cant find the noise by listening with the key on and engine off, you kicking a dead horse then. You said you could hear a noise so go and find it and then put a picture of what you find the noise coming from.
