Alright, im starting to piece together a low pressure fuel system set up. I just had a question about a regulator. Im going to use an aeromotive regulator. Instead of using a distribution block like elite has, can I just buy a regulator that has multiple ports on it? At this point really all I need is an inlet from the lift pump, an outlet to the injection pump, an inlet for the excess fuel from the injection pump and fuel rails, and the bypass out of the bottom and back to the tank.

Is there a reason everyone uses this distribution block instead of a regulator with multiple ports? Also can anyone post detailed pics of the block and show which lines go into and out of it and the regulator. Ive never really seen one up close.

I'd also like to see pics of the fuel bowl delete installed in a truck.

I bought the Airdog Upgrade Kit during the Black Friday sale and it didn't come with any instructions or a parts list.
Pretty sure two of the fittings are missing o-rings and after trying to mock up the kit myself I'm left with unused ports in the block and/or regulator.

The block has ports that are plugged since the block can be used for twin fuelers as well. Airdog has instructions for there end of things but the elite stuff requires some. Try contacting Jd and seeing if he can get you some instructions.

Now to the OP wanting pics of someone's kit so you can copy it, well go look at the fuel diagrams from Ford and you'll know what goes where and you can make your own call if you want a distribution block or not.

I have fuel diagrams, my main question is why people don't use regulators with multiple ports instead of the distribution block. I see the block has a port for what looks like a fuel temp sensor, is that why?

I have a reg with multiple ports works fine.. I have to say that the block its probably cleaner and easier when bleeding the low pressure system....

How many ports did you use? A port from the lift pump, then one going from the regulator to the injectors pump and then a port coming back from the return out of the engine/hpfp. So three ports plus the bypass

Alright cool. Do you regulate your return from the hpfp/rails? I assume due to the way everything is pressurized there are no problems with backflow into that line if its connected to the regulator?
