Does anyone know of an aftermarket cross-over (between the heads) that is designed to be installed on the front of the heads where the banjo's are? If not, can the cross-over for the back be installed with the cab on without great difficulty? I don't want to spend the money on a reg. return right now, but thought a cross-over could be beneficial. Any suggestions?

Yea what these guys have said is the ONLY way to get rid of the dead head design that comes stock on the truck. A cross over line will make sure both heads have the same pressure (like they already do with out one) but will still just cause the fuel to dead head at the back of the motor. If you are seeking to keep fresh fuel running through the heads then the ONLY way to do that is with a RR kit. Even with an Airdog or FASS, while you remove the air from the fuel, it still dead heads at the back of the motor. Hope this helps.

I did my ITP/Strictly Diesel/Driven Diesel/Whatever you want to call it RR kit with my cab on. The toughest part was installing the drivers side banjo bolt. Both sides really need the up pipe loosened/removed if you could and it will go right on.

Id like to see the price of your kits because they can be Built dirt cheap. I should start building complete custom fuel systems. If i can get 5 people to pay for test kits i would

I was looking at the kit Dozer's Diesel has on their site. I think it's the one Donzimama designed. I havn't made my mind up yet, but knowing it can be done cab-on is a huge plus. I really need to look at some other kits. I'd like to see some instructions for these kits.

i installed this kit a couple of months ago. has worked flawlessly since i put it in. nice braided lines, nice fittings, and a cheaper price. it still does the same thing every other kit out there does....maintain pressure and eliminates the deadhead.

Good to know, how easy was the install? I may PM you with some questions before I decide if thats OK.

it was a bitch to install...but any RR kit is tough with the cab on. it's just tough to get the uppipes undone and the rear plugs out. it's not difficult...just a pain in the ass if that makes sense. shoot me a pm about it any time man!
