Not even remotely funny! We've been through HELL over the name thing. I will slip one of the guys in your office some $ to punish you severely for that! For what it's worth, NONE of the fuel system were ever marketed under the Strictly Diesel name. Strictly Diesel is the RETAIL division of our company. After having to walk away from the original post-merger name for our performance/manufacturing division, we settled on Driven Diesel (and made sure we wouldn't get burned again). ALL of the product we manufacture ourselves is done under the DRIVEN DIESEL name. There are a number of reasons for the separate division/name that aren't worth getting into here...I just wanted to clarify what was what. THANK YOU! (fixed it for you BTW). To the OP, I have not seen a fuel system that CAN'T be installed with the cab on. I don't think that should be a big concern for you. As others have said, it's MUCH easier to do with the cab off or the engine out...but if you're not doing that, just plan for more install time. I've been building Powerstroke fuel systems for 10 years now, and 6.0L fuel systems for about 7...don't hesitate to give me a call if you've got questions! FWIW, while you're looking at different fuel systems, make sure you're making "apples to apples" comparisons. I freely admit that we don't have the least expensive (or the most expensive) fuel systems on the market, but when you look closely at the custom work, custom parts, attention to detail, etc...you'll see where the extra cost comes in. "Cheaper" isn't always better...and whether it's 7.3L or 6.0L, I've had numerous customers replace competitors fuel systems with mine. I'm not normally one to "toot my own horn", but since every new diesel company that pops up on the interweb seems to think they need to reinvent the PSD fuel system for the umteenth time...maybe it's time I did. There's a reason that some of the top companies in the business use my stuff...and it is most certainly not my good looks (or lack thereof). As I said above, please feel free to contact me directly by phone or email (preferred and usually quickest) if you have ANY questions! I talk fuel systems all day long so I'm not always easy to reach...be patient, leave a message if I'm not available, I promise I will get back to you.
