i would encourage anyone that has built their own system,to post pics.

this will help the guys, and gals visualize what we are talking about, when the term custom fuel system is used.

maybe even get a sticky going.

How does this work one line goes from the tank to fuel bowl than it branches off to front and rear of the heads and than what about a return line?

what fuel bowl? ;)

line from the fuel pump to a y block, off the y block each line goes to one head. On the back side, each line off each head is run to its own port on the regulator. The bottom port of the regulator is the return line back to the tank.

This is if youre deleting the fuel bowl.

Here are some pictures of my fuel system. In case it isnt clear enough, I have a XDP fuel sump going to an AD150 going to an Aeromotive A1000 going to a y-block that splits and sends a line that attaches to the front of each head with 90* fittings and I have the remnants of the Strictly Diesel RR kit coming off the back of the heads with my own return line that connects to the factory return line that connects to the OEM pump and fuel tank.

I fabricated my own mount for the A1000 with aluminum plate, stainless steel hardware, and rubber grommets for isolators. I also use the Aeromotive Billet Speed controller to control the A1000 instead of a fuel pump relay (dont have any pics of that yet though).

I have almost 3k miles on the setup so far as it is configured and almost 5k miles with the fuel bowl delete and AD150.

Thanks for the info seems pretty simple this winter I would like to make my own fuel system or try to anywayLOL

That is exactly how my fuel system is setup.

I feed the back of the heads and return off the front, but it makes no difference which way you do it

I only fed from the front so I didn't have to mess around with the back of the heads. It was less expensive this way for me.
