In prep for my strictly diesel e fuel installation in the up coming weeks, I pulled the front tank out today so I could get a little head start when I finally go to do the install.
Is it ok to run without the 2 lines (fuel and return i'm assuming is what they are) unhooked while running off the back tank only?

I'm guessing there is a supply and return on both the front and back tanks since I see 2 hoses going to both, a white looking covered hose and a blue one.

on the rear tank is the only thing holding it up the skid plate?
I started removing the skid plate thinking I might gain some time, but it seemed to be dropping so I put it back up just in case.

on installing the 5/8" pick up tube, anyone have an pics on the f26e tank so I can get some ideas on where to put it.

skidplate is the only thing retaining the tank.
I dont have a stock sending unit as I was going to use a bronco tank, so I have a bronco sending unit that I put the 5/8 draw straw in to

-10 JIC bulkhead with sealing washers, -10 stainless tubing, in a bronco sending unit ring. I havent addressed the return yet, the plan is to scrap all that and TIG up a custom sending unit.

that's exactly the set up I have, thanks for the pic, I wasn't sure if there was room up between the bed and top of f26e tank to run that, it helps a lot thanks.

I had to smack a crossmember with the air hammer to clear the -10 90° hose end
I didnt do it pretty as my bed is completely ruined by the PO anyway
