Fuel tank sump vs. draw straw

what seems to work the best? I kind of plan on a 5/8" draw straw... http://www.summitracing.com/parts/fra-900702/overview/
wondering if the factory return line will be big enough, or should i run -6 all the way back to the tank? if i have to run -6 all the way back then i will probably go with something like this... http://www.strictlydiesel.com/p-3276-fass-58-suction-tube-kit-in-module-wfitting-stk-1003.aspx
or if these seem to be not the greatest thing to do, then let me know.

Return line would depend on the pump you are running

I would stick with -8 cause the length is so long.

I got mine sumped with a TSD tank sump. I was able to have the skid plate modded to extend the skid below the sump. Looks great and works well for me. I don't know if TSD is still making the tank sump.

-6 for a return is suffice.

^All the reaserch ive done says -6 is fine, -8 seams overkill especially since it drops down to less then 3/8 to run back into the factory return on the sender.

so i can run -6 to the return from the factory sender, that wont be to small? i would ideally like to still use the factory sender, just drill out the hole for the 5/8 draw straw.
