My trucks temps are all over the place and it's gaining coolant. What could cause this. Bad thermostats maybe. The coolant has got high enough it's overflown once.
Uhhhh....... what's in the coolant that is making the level rise?

It's either oil or fuel...not much else it can be that's causing the level to rise.
Overflown as in puking?
It was parked and overflowed. But temps never went over 199 on coolant. I can't see a head gasket. We just studded it. New heads and they were decked.
Possible air pocket maybe?
It's been studded for months. I let it set for 2 weeks and now it's doin this.
No way it's an air pocket after 2 months. Maybe a hung open thermostat? I've heard of that happening. I guess the truck was running when parked right?
Oil cooler maybe? Is there any residue in the degas bottle?
Nothin.
I'd pull the thermostat and check it out
weird since you have it already studded
