I know there's some cb fans on here, figured I would throw this up and see if there is any interest. I bought this radio back in February, and ran it in my '06 379 Pete. Im out of the transportation industry now, and going to school for my associates degree in real estate. Radio is in pristine condition, everything works excellent, and it is a LOUD CLEAN talker. Ive got uncountable random compliments after I talk on it about how good it sounds, and how crisp and clear it is...ive shot skip all over the map, and had 20 mile communication from truck to truck on a quiet night. Middle of the day, i can get about 13 miles no issues. Bird meter shows it 150 watts with a 45 watt deadkey, 13.8 volts of power supply used, several other meterd ive had it on show 200 watts with a 60-65 watt carrier. Anyhow, banks a-h, upper and lower side band, trb-3 digital echo board, variable power (swings about 70 watts all the way down with a 5 watt carrier, voice changer, +10k switch, 5 digit frequency counter, big power meter, all blue led's for display, starlight backlit display on face. 4 520 mosfets, big heatsink on bottom, and on back. Several other features i am forgetting, but this is the radio that replaced the 99v, ive had several people think i was on a 99v with a linear due to the way it sounds. Anyhow, im asking $375.99 for the radio, its already been aligned and converted, thats extra when you buy it new, and some radios produce only 100-110 watts so this one is a little happy. Ill include the factory Galaxy mic, along with the chrome rk-56 noise cancelling mic with lip guard (perfect shape as well).

I will get some pics up in a minute, but I will ship it in the box it came in, with the manuals and everything..this radio has to be wired directly to battery for power, and grounded to the frame.

Thanks, Jason

Galaxy makes a badass radio wish I still had my 88. Where did you get it from/ who did the work on it. I bet that would push a 4-pill amp real nice.

Dang drunk fat fingers... they did a 4 pill fatboy behind the 94, deadkeyed 136 watts swung to right at 700 watts. Ive searched and searched for people running a amp off this radio, and that was the only one i could find. I just about could guarantee that would do an "ok" job.

I used to be on a CB forum called CB assholes I have a uniden tuned by 13Virginia and a davemade 2x8 pegs out a 2500 bird slug. Amp has been sitting on the shelf for 2years but some day I'm gonna get a second alternator and some 16volt batteries and run it on its own charging system. It kinda scares me to run it cause the RF cooked my ecm in my rig so I don't know how my pickup will handle it.

Yeah, i was told a 1x4 is big as i want to go to avoid electrical issues before. I dont really know how much of the crap to believe from some of these guys...i know of a few guys with TRUE mobile setups putting some serious fire in the wire, safely. Guy who goes by Rocksteady down in Katy, Tx. area, his mobile is a Galaxy 99v pushing a fat boy (cant remember the size) but he runs 105lb. Batteries on the floor board in the backseat (hes in oil field and his company rents tahoes for him to take down to Laredo for business), and I can be in Tomball on 290, and hear him going around Beltway 8 to i-45 in Houston, and he hits me about 10 right there. I can be in Spring-Cypress area on 290, and hell just about be hitting me 20+.

He's got an instant watergate, and a jetsons key up toy in his radio...ive got videos favorited on youtube of him being watergated in Maryland, and California jumping in asking if he has a copy on
them. Check it out...i love this guys audio, always sounds choice!

Bump! Id like to get this thing sold! Just bought a brand new rk56 mic for it, that was $80.00. No price increase at all, I've got over $600 tied up in this setup.
