gear oil for truetrac?

so eaton recommends only dino 80w90. no synthetics. so whats the best out there? lucus,sta-lube,castrol,valvoline, Lubrication engineers, esso, mobil mobilube?

I have a detroit truetrac. Wondering what it says to use. I want to change mine soon as well. Curious to see if anything will work.

ive read a few posts on ls1tech about the synthetic myth being bull ****. seems like redline shock proof, amsoil, schaffers, mobil1 are recommended alot.

Gonna do the redline Shockproof seems like I can't find one bad thing about it and the truetrac a lot of the ls1 and mustang guys like it.

ehhh shockproof seems to be more for racing with shorter change intervals. im gonna do amsoil severe gear 75w110, or stick with the valvoline high performance 80w90

Amsoil, or the redline will be fine. I run the amsoil in both of mine without issues.
