My tires are on their last legs bfg 275/65/20 on stock 20s. I want to run 35x12.50's. I've seen these tires on stock wheels and they look stupid, being pooched out and all. And I haven't found another wheel I really like.

Can I get my factory wheels widened to 10.5 or 11", or am I asking for trouble? If it can be done, who would i look to? Truck is leveled btw.

Thanks guys.

As long as the welding is flawless and they balance right, I don't see a problem myself.

Or if this would be more realistic, get my centers cut out and welded into new rims?

They will croode around the welds unless treated. Factory rims are a mix of a few different alloys to provide superior corrosion resistance, strength and looks. Might not be a problem if your in an area that lacks snow.

I got in touch with Atlantic coast wheel in Atlanta. They welded my centers in 11" hoops, wrapped them in Toyo at2's. I done several boosted launches, I broke 6 wheel studs. The wheels held up fine, lost 6 months of tire tread to boot.
