Anyone running Glowshift gauges? In the market for a set here soon and considering them. I can get all 3 (boost, pyro, trans) for $199. 3 gauge pod is what, $60? So say $260-275 for the full setup. That's $100 cheaper than Autometer. Is there anything wrong with them? As long as they are quality gauges that's probably the route I'm going.

I'm with dirtflinger. I have installed a few glowshift gauge sets. The gauges are poor quality. A few things I noticed is they have abnormally large sending units compared to ISSPRO/Autometer (unless you pay for the "smaller" ones). Depending on the type of gauge, the connections consist of ring terminals and screws, not a small weather pack connector, or something along the sort like other competitors use. Connections sometimes get loose on the terminals, or break off easily. Had a customer have trouble with multiple sending units and finally trashed the set for Autometer gauges.

Another thing that bugs me with the Glowshift gauges is how tacky they look..again, personal preference.

I personally run ISSPRO. I have had their gauges in my truck for three years, problem free, and they never skip a beat; they look great too.

Plenty of guys here do not have troubles with their Autometer gauges and would buy another set from them.

I've saw a lot of glowshift digital gauge failures, on both senders and the gauges themselves. You get what you pay for.

That's what I wanted to know. I've never used them or knew anyone who did, so I have no experience with them. If the quality is crap, that I'm not buying them. I had Autometer Ultra Lites on my 04 and never had a problem with them. Looks like that's the route ill end up going again. Might look into the Isspro's as well.

I have glowshifts and had my egt gauge act up. Called glowshift and they wanted me to test a bunch of stuff. Poor customer service in my opinion. They should have replaced it and ran the tests themselves since there product was faulty. Ended up being the sending unit. I will not buy them again.

I put a set in my old flatbed for the guy who bought it, he loves them. That was only 3 weeks ago so idk how long they will last. I thought they looked good but the wiring is kinda low quality.

Glowshift are junk, period. I wouldn't run a set even if they were given to me. I've seen numerous ones literally fall apart, and just quit working. I personally like autometers, I have one isspro but I haven't hooked it up yet so I can't really speak for the quality, it looks nice though. You get what you pay for.

I bought my glowshifts almost a year ago, I had my boost gauge only glowing red, it was something faulty in the wiring...sent gs an email, I sent it in and 3 days later had a brand new replacement. Have not had any issues since. As far as accuracy, they are right on with my Edge CTS readouts sooooo take that for what it's worth.

I've learned in my searching around that most people that have good experience with any kind of products, you rarely hear from...because there are no issues.... people that do have issues, want to tell the whole world about, and it usually ends up with a bad rap. As far as glowshift goes, I am extremely happy with the product and their customer service and would buy from them again. There is a potential for recieving a bad product no matter what company you buy from, not everything that comes off the assembly line will be perfect. Just my .02!

I've had good luck with glow shift. Customer service has always been top notch and there green in the 7 color gauges matches the factory gauges better than autometer and isspro.

happy with my gs but wouln't buy them again. I will spend a little more money for better quality next time. Been through 3 fp sending units. They are good on a budget but I'm tired of changing parts....once i can afford new ones. So for now they work.

I've had 4 glow shifts for the past year and haven't had a single issue with them. I got the tinted ones, look great work great. No complaints. I remote mounted the oil and fuel pressure sending units to keep them away from engine rattle and heat and everything works great.
