First of all im putting this here since i know it will get seen by more 6.0 guys. I want to buy a 6.0 and i have found a couple but the one that really catcges my eye is one local that has 80,000 miles 2005 its a lariat fully loaded sunroof and all, it has the delete, a edge chip, exhaust and thats it. I have never seen this truck dirty and honestly is probably one of the cleanest trucks ive seen. The guy wants 25,000$ and i feel thats a little steep but i wanted to get your guys' opinion on what you think about it. I know that i want to leave room for studs in there for sure, anything else you guys think i should look for when i check it out besides the basic things like oil and trans fluid yadayada

I know I wouldnt pay 25k for an 05. I got my 03 with 71k on it almost 3 years ago for 16k and it already had studs done and an edge. Other than that bone stock and in great shape. Id just wait it out a little more. You could get an 08 for a little more than that.

I feel the same way, im comfortable going to around 18k for it, and that was another option stepping up from a 7.3 to a 6.4, but idk if i want a 6.4.

Knock $10K off that price and you are approaching good deal territory. Some folks are very proud of their trucks, to the point that they get silly about their value. Go to a credit union and see what they would loan on that truck. That would be the market value that you could start negotiations on. There are plenty of 6.0 fish in the sea, at that price the seller will be sitting on it a long while.

Think I would be looking at this one myself.

Trying to talk my son into it.

See that is an AWESOME truck but i have to have a crew cab, otherwise yes i would be all over that. As for the price on the one im looking at, now seeing some insight i too believe that price is sky high. Anyone know of some nice clean ccsb 6.0 for sale wether local or not?

25 is steep...

Personally I'm kinda Leary of any 6.0 with an edge programmer...not a chip...

Assuming its a lariat and a crew cab 4x4...the credit union will loan around 21.5-22.5 on it...

I bought my 06 lariat at 90k miles less than a year ago and the loan value was like 27.5k on it. I didn't pay that for it but they would have loaned up to that.

For 25 you can find a studded and deleted lariat with similar miles..
