Looking for some good turbo information how to calculate flows and what the effect of different wheels effect boost and spool rate ect... Thanks

Ummmm...

What exactly do you want.... mass air flow rates and most capable boost? Or you want something that's gunna tell you how fast a turbo will.spool?

Just want to know more in general about them... I have a project coming up that may get of compounds and i don't feel comfortible enough yet so just trying to figure out "why" instead of just getting told a certain thing does something

As far as overall flow (which a lot of companies talk about) I've found this calculation helps:

Lbs per minute of charger, divided by .07
Example: a BW S363 (w/cast wheel) flows 75 lb/min, divided by .07 = 1,071 cfm


It works the opposite if you have the cfm number but not the lbs/min (just multiply then)
Example reversed: 1,071 cfm X .07 = 74.97 (so 75 lbs/min)

I prefer mass air flow over cfm personally but to each is his own.
